Why Dr. PRP Kits?

Dr. PRP benefits include:

Safe (CLOSED STERILE SYSTEM)
Since the system is sterile and closed, outside air is blocked with the double safety cap. Since the processing is all performed within the closed system, there is no chance of the PRP becoming contaminated.

Easy to Use
Our kits are pre-packaged, and Dr. PRP’s clear chambers ensure that you can see all of the blood sample’s components. The buffy coat layer can be easily seen in the neck of the device, meaning that you can precisely separate the components into the type of PRP you wish to produce. You can even eliminate Red Blood Cells from your prp final product.

Quick and Convenient
The closed system of Dr. PRP allows for more treatments in less time. You can customize your final PRP composition for use in different situations. The PRP can (and should) be administered as soon as you prepare it with our kit – no advanced-preparation needed.

High Concentration
One kit holds 20cc of fluid—3cc of anticoagulant with 17cc of whole blood—and produces 4cc of highly concentrated PRP. The platelet recovery percentage of Dr. PRP is higher than the minimum recovery percentage of other similar products from our competitors.

Why PRP?

Benefits of PRP Regenerative Therapy

Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is a concentration of platelets taken from a sample of the patient’s blood. PRP has a slew of healing and regenerative properties. It’s just a matter of producing the proper concentration that you need for your specific condition. Use a kit that can prepare PRP the way you need it. Contact us or call (844) 377-7787 to order DR. PRP today.

Benefits of PRP Regenerative Therapy

The platelets in PRP aid in wound and injury healing, and increase soft tissue generation of collagen, cartilage, tendons, and ligaments.

Benefits of PRP include:
  • 100% safe – as the sample is prepared using the patient’s blood, there is no risk of rejection, infection, or allergic reaction
  • convenient – it’s quick, surgery-free, and customizable to a specific ailment
  • natural – PRP heals the patient with the patient’s own platelets

Accelerated Natural Healing With PRP

PRP is prepared by collecting a blood sample and centrifuging it to separate the platelet-rich plasma from the red blood cells and normal plasma. With the Dr. PRP kit, you can get a high platelet recovery rate, and formulate the PRP concentration cell inclusion/exclusion that you require.

Growth Factors in Platelets

When the platelets in PRP are activated, growth factors are released. These growth factors (GF) include:
  • platelet-derived (PDGF-aa, PDGF-ab, PDGF-bb) – these peptides are associated with glia, connective tissue, and muscle cell formation
  • transforming (TGF-ß1, TGF-ß2) – regulates bone cell metabolism and encourages extracellular matrix formation
  • vascular endothelial (VEGF) – promotes the creation of new blood vessels (angiogenesis)
  • epidermal (EGF) – creates a new epithelium for a wound (re-epithelialization), encourages cell differentiation, the production of blood vessels, and collagenase activity
  • fibroblast (FGF) – stimulates fibroblast and endothelial cells to increase in number, helps new blood vessel to form

PRP for Pain Management

Chronic pain affects 20% of adults, often diminishing mobility and quality of life. Acute pain, if not treated promptly, can become chronic. Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy offers an alternative to pain-relieving drugs, corticosteroid injections, and surgeries, with a strong safety profile and no known adverse effects.

PRP works by stimulating the body's natural healing process. Upon soft tissue injury, platelets release growth factors that assist in cell regeneration and tissue healing. PRP intensifies this by concentrating platelets, delivering a 5-10x higher platelet concentration than in whole blood. This concentrated PRP is injected into the injury site to enhance the healing response.

As an autologous treatment (using the patient's blood), PRP poses no risk of cross-reactivity or immune response. Research shows PRP effectively reduces pain from lower back issues, osteoarthritis, and other musculoskeletal conditions such as:
  • Back and neck injuries
  • Pelvic pain and instability
  • Osteoarthritis in knees, hips, shoulders, and spine
  • Tendonitis, Tennis elbow, Rotator cuff injuries
  • Chronic plantar fasciitis

PRP for Soft Tissue Regeneration

Musculoskeletal and soft tissue injuries, including osteoarthritis, tendonitis, and ligament problems, are leading causes of chronic pain and disability. Standard treatments, such as painkillers, cortisone injections, and surgery, come with various risks and limitations. PRP offers a promising alternative for tissue regeneration.

PRP accelerates healing by concentrating platelets that release growth factors essential for cell regeneration. Injected into injured areas, PRP boosts tissue repair by promoting blood flow and nutrient delivery, enhancing healing. Studies indicate PRP’s effectiveness in treating:
  • Patellar and Achilles tendinopathies
  • Knee osteoarthritis
  • Osteochondral lesions in the ankle

PRP provides long-lasting healing and pain relief for various musculoskeletal conditions and can be used alone or alongside surgery.

PRP for Osteoporosis

Osteoporosis weakens bones, increasing fracture risk, particularly in the hip, wrist, and spine. Fractures in osteoporotic bones are harder to heal due to reduced bone formation and mineral density.

PRP can accelerate bone healing by enhancing the natural healing process. By concentrating platelets and delivering growth factors, PRP stimulates bone regeneration, improving bone microarchitecture. Research shows PRP effectively supports osteoporotic fracture healing and improves bone quality.

As an autologous therapy, PRP reduces the risks of immune reaction and disease transmission, making it a safe and promising treatment for osteoporosis-related fractures.

PRP for Wound Healing

Chronic wounds, such as diabetic ulcers, venous leg ulcers, and pressure sores, fail to heal through normal processes, leading to pain, reduced quality of life, and costly treatments. PRP therapy offers a regenerative solution to accelerate wound healing.

PRP contains growth factors that promote tissue regeneration. It has been found effective in speeding up healing by improving blood flow, reducing infection risks, and enhancing skin graft adhesion. Studies show PRP is more effective than conventional methods for wound healing, offering faster recovery and reduced scarring.

PRP is particularly useful in managing infections and promoting healing in chronic wounds.

PRP for Sexual Health

Aging and certain health conditions can affect sexual health, leading to issues such as erectile dysfunction and vaginal dryness. PRP offers a potential solution for patients who haven't responded to traditional treatments.

PRP therapy works by injecting growth factors into the penile or vaginal tissue, stimulating regeneration and improving blood flow. This process may alleviate symptoms related to sexual dysfunction, improving arousal, lubrication, and orgasm in women, and supporting erectile function in men.

PRP is safe, with no adverse reactions reported, and studies suggest it’s a promising adjunctive therapy for treating sexual health concerns in both men and women.

Advanced Ophthalmic Care: PRP Eye Drops for Optimal Ocular Health
Our eyes are our window to the world, but ocular health goes beyond clear vision. Chronic dry eyes can cause discomfort, irritation, and impact daily life.

Understanding Dry Eye Disease Dry eye disease occurs when the eyes fail to produce or retain adequate lubrication. Contributing factors include:

  • Aging
  • Autoimmune diseases
  • Allergic eye disease
  • Vitamin A deficiency
  • Certain medications (antihistamines, decongestants, antidepressants, birth control, etc.)
  • Corneal nerve sensitivity from contact lens use, laser eye surgery, or nerve damage

Tears are essential for lubricating and protecting the eye’s delicate surface. Insufficient tear production can lead to:
  • Eye inflammation
  • Corneal abrasions and ulcers
  • Ocular surface damage
  • Eye infections
  • Impaired quality of life

Conventional Treatments and Their Limitations Current treatments for dry eyes include:
  • Anti-inflammatory drugs (antibiotics, corticosteroids)
  • Artificial tear inserts
  • Cholinergic drugs to stimulate tear production

However, these treatments often come with side effects such as microbiome disruption, immune suppression, discomfort, or contraindications.

PRP: A Natural Solution for Dry Eyes Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) has emerged as a promising alternative for dry eye treatment. Studies indicate that PRP eye drops effectively treat moderate to severe cases of dry eye disease and aid in ocular surface surgical reconstruction.

How PRP Works PRP harnesses the body’s healing power. When activated, platelets release growth factors, proteins, and cytokines that promote cell regeneration and tissue repair. PRP is derived by concentrating platelets from the patient’s own blood and applying them topically as eye drops, enhancing the natural healing response. Since PRP is autologous, there is no risk of immune reactions or disease transmission.

PRP for Infertility Support Infertility affects 12% of women of childbearing age in the U.S. With delayed childbirth becoming more common, ovarian insufficiency is a rising concern.

Challenges and Conventional Treatments Infertility can be emotionally and financially challenging. Standard treatments include:
  • Synthetic hormone therapy
  • In vitro fertilization (IVF) using donor eggs
However, these options have drawbacks such as increased cardiovascular and breast cancer risk, high costs, and ethical concerns.

Ovarian Rejuvenation with PRP PRP offers a potential alternative by regenerating ovarian tissue through the body’s healing mechanisms. PRP is injected into the ovaries via ultrasound or laparoscopic guidance, stimulating tissue repair.

Clinical Insights Studies suggest intraovarian PRP can:
  • Restore menstruation in menopausal women
  • Improve hormonal profiles (decreased FSH, increased AMH levels)
  • Aid in natural conception
Since PRP uses the patient’s own blood, it carries no risk of immune reactions.

PRP for Hair Restoration Hair thinning and baldness affect both men and women, often causing frustration and reduced confidence.

Common Causes of Hair Loss
  • Medications (blood thinners, beta-blockers, chemotherapy drugs)
  • Medical conditions (thyroid dysfunction, lupus, nutritional deficiencies)
  • Stress-induced shedding (telogen effluvium)
  • Fungal infections (tinea capitis)
  • Autoimmune disorders (alopecia areata)
  • Androgenic alopecia (male- and female-pattern baldness)

Conventional Treatments and Their Drawbacks Current treatments include medications (minoxidil, finasteride) and surgical options (hair transplants). However, medications may cause side effects such as scalp irritation, sexual dysfunction, and increased cancer risk. Discontinuing treatment leads to hair loss recurrence.

PRP for Hair Regeneration PRP offers a drug-free alternative for hair restoration. When injected into the scalp, PRP:
  • Stimulates dormant hair follicles
  • Prolongs the hair growth phase
  • Enhances hair density and thickness
Clinical studies have demonstrated PRP’s effectiveness in treating androgenic alopecia. Regular treatments may be needed for optimal results.

PRP for Skin Rejuvenation The skin is the body's largest organ and is prone to aging, environmental damage, and medical conditions.

Effects of Aging on the Skin Aging leads to:
  • Decreased collagen and elastin production
  • Skin thinning and sagging
  • Uneven skin tone and wrinkles

Limitations of Traditional Aesthetic Treatments
  • Botox only addresses dynamic wrinkles and may cause muscle weakness.
  • Dermal fillers carry risks such as nodules, immune reactions, and disfigurement.
  • Laser treatments can cause hyperpigmentation, especially in darker skin tones.

PRP as a Natural Skin Rejuvenation Solution PRP promotes skin regeneration by stimulating collagen and elastin production. Clinical studies show PRP:
  • Improves skin texture and tone
  • Reduces fine lines and wrinkles
  • Enhances skin volume and elasticity

Since PRP is derived from the patient’s own blood, it poses no risk of immune reactions or foreign body complications.

PRP for Migraines Migraines can be debilitating, causing pain, nausea, and light sensitivity. Many patients struggle to find effective relief.

Causes and Standard Treatments Migraines are influenced by genetic, environmental, and neurological factors. Treatment options include:
  • Analgesics (NSAIDs, acetaminophen, opioids)
  • Triptans
  • Ergotamines

However, these medications have serious side effects, including cardiovascular risks, kidney damage, addiction potential, and rebound headaches.

PRP as an Alternative Migraine Treatment PRP therapy may offer a promising solution by addressing underlying tissue inflammation and nerve sensitivity. By promoting cellular repair and reducing inflammation, PRP could provide long-term relief for migraine sufferers.

HOW IS PRP USED?

The #1 FDA 510(K) Cleared PRP Kit

THE PRP PROCESS

To create a platelet-rich plasma preparation, the following steps are performed: A small sample of blood is drawn from the patient and injected into the Dr. PRP blood tube. The platelets are then separated from the other blood components and their concentration is increased using the Dr. PRP centrifuge and by removing some of the plasma. The resulting platelet-rich plasma is then applied onto and around the injured site of the patient. The concentrated growth factors contained in the plasma trigger a mild inflammatory response which effectively jump starts the body’s own natural healing response.

The entire process takes approximately one hour, including preparation and recovery time. For a complete demonstration of each step of the process, view our instructional video.
